Boise Ranked #1 in Top 100 Places to Live
The lifestyle website Livability.com has assigned Boise it's top spot for 2019.
"Boise has become a magnet for people looking for a tight-knit community, great job opportunities, easy access to the outdoors--and perhaps most importantly, a much lower cost of living than many larger and comparably sized cities," blog writer Winona Dimeo-Ediger states.
The site notes that Boise has appeared on Livability's Top 100 Best Places to Live ranking every year since the list's inception. The number 2 spot goes to Raleigh, North Carolina with about twice the population. Next, in number 3 position, is Madison, Wisconsin.
Four of the top five livable cities are college towns. The fifth, Rochester, Minnesota, is home to the world renowned Mayo Clinic, a leading healthcare provider.
